Wharf Farm stands at the very north-east corner of Cliffe village, right at the edge of the marshes. At the time of this photograph horses were stabled in a building west of the farmhouse (out of frame to the left) but other farmyard buildings stood disused and dilapidated. Much has changed in the last few years. This image dates from pre-digital days, and was salvaged from a film which was left undeveloped for too long. I've struggled to reduce the strange colour biases but - sorry - haven't been able to eliminate them.
