The middle lock of three through the town. As we arrived, motor barge Parglena was preparing to leave. This is a 5/7ths replica of one of the Duker barges, that were built in the early 1950s. As there were six of them, all beginning Par and having the next letter a, b, c etc, the owners of this boat came up with Pargxxxxx to be the seventh in the series. There are interesting stories here http://www.cutweb.org.uk/members/parglena.html and here http://lock13.co.uk/boats/parglena.htm
