A very humble dwelling, perhaps what could be described as a hovel at one time: tiny windows and only a single story perhaps with a gallery sleeping area. Two rooms each with a hearth - heat (for cooking) would have been more important than light. The chimney on the right is a big one, a 'simne fawr'.
