The High House at Leadenham - not the George Hotel

This building bears an odd resemblance to the well-known George Hotel Image The similarity can hardly be coincidental - the same builder must surely have been involved in both. Curiously, though, the 'George' looks as if it started life as a two-storey structure with a steeply pitched roof (there are traces on the gable-ends) - not so, it seems, in the case of the High House.
