View NW, towards Skelton Junction and the North: ex-North Eastern East Coast Main Line. The train of rail ballast (headed by ex-War Department 2-8-0 No. 90424) is coming out southward from York Main Goods lines on the west (Down) side from Skelton Junction to proceed from here to Holgate Junction flanked by the main York Marshalling Yards, forming a direct route to the west of York's main passenger station.
