Ightham Mote, north gardens

Ightham Mote is a moated manor house built in 1320 with later additions. It is the subject of the largest conservation project ever undertaken by the National Trust. The gardens are receiving extensive restoration as well, and it is well worth going on a garden tour with one of their experts.
