Another gem from the archives. Stoney Street leads away north towards Clink Street, said to be the origin of the colloquialism for the word 'jail'. Part of the building at the left is the 'Vinopolis' 'wine and spirit destination', formed from the conversion of buildings beneath railways leading into Cannon Street railway station.
