'Head and part of shaft of Cornish cross. Medieval. Granite. Wheelhead type. Approx. 80cm high, with shaft 21cm wide and head 48cm in diameter; the face is filled by raised figure of Christ in a sunk panel, and the rear has a raised Latin cross. Was formerly mounted on hedge at Killivose crossroads, removed to Pendarves c.1888, and to this site in 1955.' (Details from the Grade II listing description). For the location of the cross see Image
