Clearly a medieval cross base and lower shaft, but obviously not in-situ on the north side of St.Edith's church. A 14th century wayside or preaching cross relocated here from the crossroads http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=195469&mode=quick
