Tilton on the Hill Railway Bridge

The small station on the Great Northern, London and North Western Joint line was just ahead after the bridge. It opened in 1879 and closed in 1953. http://www.meltonmowbray.steamrailways.com/J%20O%27Gaunt,Marefield,Tilton.htm The SSSI Tilton cutting reserve is behind me.
