Towards Central Station from the Castle Keep

The Castle Keep provides wonderful views in all directions including the one west towards Central Station. It has been used as a vantage point by other photographers and there are several photos already posted here. One clear change made recently was the 2010 demolition of the old wooden British Rail parcels warehouse on Westgate Road (just to the right of the car park) Image It is visible, for example, in the following photographs: 1966 Image, 1970 Image, 1982 Image, and already boarded up in 2005 Image There is planning permission on its site for a 6-storey Sleeperz hotel which will also use the railway arches below http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=982098&highlight=sleeperz
