Built in 1847 by the brothers-in-law of Thomas Read Kemp who happened to be part of the Baring family who ran the bank of the same name. Almost immediately became the must have residence and has remained so ever since. The whole terrace is now listed. The homes come with their own private garden on the south side of the road which was laid out at the same time they were built around Clifton Windmill which was later moved to Albion Hill on the eastern side of the town.
