View NW, towards the crossing at Walton Station, north of Peterborough; ex-Midland line from Leicester via Melton Mowbray to Peterborough East. Here the line is running for several miles parallel with the East Coast Main Line, which is behind the train and had no station here. Walton LMS station was closed 7/12/53, but the line remains. This stopping train is headed by LMS 2P 4-4-0 No. 40542.
