Horest Lane climbs from the bridge over the River Tame at Slackcote to its junction with the A672 here at Old Tame between Denshaw and Grains Bar. The car in the photo is on the A672 heading towards Grains Bar. It is a very steep climb with a gradient of 1:4 or steeper in places. There is a double chevron on the OS map.
