Head west along Montpelier Terrace then turn north up the hill that is Montpelier Villas. These semi-detached villas were built in 1845 on the site of an old bluebell wood. Since their construction they have been highly sought after its residents included among others Gilbert Harding, the writer and broadcaster. The whole street is listed and still intact.
