Continue moving up Bedford Place until you get to Western Road (B2066) a major shopping street in Brighton. At this point the road is moving further away from the shopping centre so the shops are becoming more specialised with the exception of a small Waitrose supermarket, the only supermarket left in Brighton central shopping district (Discounting Tesco and Sainsbury's metro stores). Waitrose has been in that position for over 40 years expanding into a former cinema as its custom grew. The cafe with the light blue frontage is the Mad Hatter, in my opinion the best independent cafe in Brighton. Click on the link to take you to the next page. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/211555
