Some 25 years ago we lined up here to get a taxi to Bournemouth Airport. In amongst all the Ford Sierras et al was this one ancient Morris Oxford http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1114714 . As it came towards our turn it was obvious we were going to "bag" the crustymobile. "Never mind," I said, "it'll be an old pro who knows the roads round here like the back of his hand." Well, old he was. Positively ancient. Think Young Mr Grace a few years on. To cut a long story short we got hopelessly lost and only just got our plane. "Ah well, at least I know where it is now." was the old boy's parting shot. Imagine our consternation on our return to Hurn to see the self same Morris Oxford inching up the queue. We counted the cars and passengers anxiously. Always a tricky game, some people seem to be together and aren't, and vice versa. Nemesis, our turn, Morris Oxford pulls up. At which point I drop a handful of change and wave the people behind us in front. Luckily, he seems to have retired, and I didn't need a taxi today!
