The playing field is located on the east side of Tyr Winch Road. It extends northwards to the point where Tyr Winch Road splits into Began Road and Druidstone Road. The playing field, owned and managed by Old St Mellons Community Council, is open daily from 8.30am until half an hour before sunset.
