View northward, from Down Fast platform, towards Watford Junction etc.; West Coast Main Line. The Cup Final Special is on the Up Slow line. It is from Burnley, hauled by LMS 'Jubilee' 6P 4-6-0 No. 45705 'Seahorse'. (Burnley lost to Tottenham Hotspurs, 1 to 3). I was far more interested in watching all the Specials, on both WCML and on the ex-Great Central line which crossed just to the north.
