As well as this block of shops, there is another around the corner in Manor Lane, including a small supermarket. The fencing which can be glimpsed on the far left of this photo, encloses the site of a demolished petrol filling station. Unfortunately the angle of the late afternoon sun prevented much detail recording in this photograph, but the shops in Kent Road include Manor Vets, HQ Ladies Hair Studio, Kent Road Fish Bar and others.
