View northward on the original North Midland Railway 'Old Road', Chesterfield (Tapton Junction) - Rotherham (Masboro'), Killamarsh West (ex-Midland) Station (closed 1/2/54) having been behind camera. The route normally conveyed only freight traffic, but on Summer Saturdays was traversed by Holiday Relief expresses, such as this one, the 09.25 Filey Holiday Camp to Kings Norton (Birmingham). The locomotive is - yet another - LMS 'Jubilee' 6P 4-6-0, No. 45676 'Codrington' (built 12/35, withdrawn 9/64).
