Tudor House presumably dates from that period. There is a dental practice, and an estate agent based in the premises. On the left is a branch of Lloyds TSB Bank. To the right are two charity shops and yet another estate agent. The Street is part of the A24, a major trunk road, and it is also the village's main shopping and business street.
