The building on the left was built as a Scottish Baronial Mansion in 1887-9 and was St Andrew’s College in the 1950s and early 1960s. It is now used for nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. This is a view from a farm track near Broomhill Farm in the adjoining square to the south with Black Hill on the right.
