Footpath on the Cornish hedge, near Lizard village

A Cornish hedge consists of an earth bank with stone 'walls' and turfed on its top. This one carries a footpath, used here by a dog walker. Being three or four feet up you do need to keep at least half an eye on your footing as you proceed along it.
