At this point the road splits left for Caldons Hill farm and right to Awhirk and eventually the A77 to Portpatrick. Not really sure what the viewpoint is, I did walk down this lane and there are quite a few spots were there are great views over the surrounding countryside as far as Luce Bay and the Machars.
