View westward, as in Image and Image In the latter days, more modern engines were used as station pilot and here we have post-war built LMS Ivatt 2MT No. 46527 on this work; and one of the ubiquitous Class 5 4-6-0s can be glimpsed in the bay. The railwaymen on the left are probably going to the ex-GW Locomotive Depot, which was across the main lines behind the camera.
