Situated in Tatterthorn Lane near the A65 New Road, this TE replaced the former TE on the B6255 Hawes Road some years ago, the latter having since been demolished. It has the code LCING and provides telephone and broadband services to 1,045 residential and 134 non-residential premises in Chapel-le-Dale, Ingleton, Ireby, Masongill, Ribblehead, Thornton-in-Lonsdale, Westhouse and the surrounding area. The large microwave dish at the top of the post on the left of the photo is directed towards the BT Microwave Radio Station 2 miles North of Ingleton, SD6874 refers. The numbering ranges of this TE are (015242) 41xxx, 42xxx, the (015242) referring to the Hornby group of six TEs, and its postcode is LA6 3HL.
