Clunton Coppice is managed by Shropshire Wildlife Trust and differs greatly with every season; in Spring it is resounding with birdsong, resplendent with bluebells and in Summer a dense sultry woodland full of ferns, in Autumn an olfactory treat of fungi, decaying wood and piles of leaves, in Winter a steely frozen still life awaiting sun and renewal.
