Stone Street leads from Newingreen towards a hamlet of seven houses between the railway and the M20 Motorway. Before the construction of the railway and the motorway, Stone Street (a Roman road) led from Hythe to Canterbury). This bridge (Ctrl Bridge 950 and XTD 454) leads over the High Speed link from Cheriton towards Ashford. It also leads over the mainline towards Ashford.
