The Cricketers has been a pub since at least 1900 and probably long before that. It carries the Ushers logo above the main entrance even though that Trowbridge brewery closed in 2000 and the residual pub operating company was bought out in 2004 by Punch Taverns. I assume until the contrary is shown that the Cricketers is still part of the Punch estate.
