North Killingholme Power Station

North Killingholme power station is a natural gas-fired Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) station located on the south side of the Humber Estuary, 12 miles west of Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The plant comprises two 450MW modules. Each module consists of two gas turbines, two waste heat recovery boilers and one steam turbine. There is an auxiliary boiler used as a back-up. The total GRC is 900MW. Gas is supplied via a 26 mile underground pipeline from Theddlethorpe along the Lincolnshire coastline. http://www.flickr.com/photos/riffraff1/1888877865/
