True Jesus Church

The True Jesus Church is a Chinese Christian denomination, which originated in Beijing in 1917 and now has two and a half million adherents all over the world. The Elgin church on Lesmurdie Road was the first church purpose-built for the True Jesus Church in Britain. It was dedicated on 15 May 1985 and extended ten years later. It serves a sizeable and very active Chinese community in Moray and as far away as Aberdeen and Inverness. The church web site is at http://members.tjc.org/sites/en/uk/elgin/mychurch.aspx
