This church although describing itself as Presbyterian is much more liberal and open minded than the Presbyterian Church of Ireland, the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland and the Evangelial Presbyterian Church, being more akin to the Unitarian movement. It rejects the Calvinist Westminster Confession
