Located on the corner of Lower Church Street and Orchard Gardens. This is, or perhaps was, the premises of 2272 Chepstow Squadron, Air Training Corps. Cadets, volunteers and local politicians appealed to prime minister David Cameron and the Ministry of Defence after the ACO (Air Cadet Organisation) announced in August 2010 that it would closing this squadron to cut costs. Despite a petition containing more than 700 signatures, 2272 Chepstow Squadron is to be disbanded. As at September 2010, there remains the possibility of a continued cadet presence in Chepstow, as the disbanded squadron has applied to become a detached wing of the neighbouring Caldicot ATC.
