Coming down Sandy Loan onto Marine Terrace the driver or pedestrian stopping to admire the fine view over Gullane Bents towards the Firth Of Forth and the distant Fife coast will be distracted and perhaps overwhelmed by the amount of information provided here. It would take a good few minutes to read it all. Should I go to the car park or the overflow car park? Does the height restriction apply to my vehicle? Where are the CCTV cameras ? - I can't see them. What's that notice about dog fouling? Oh B*****! - there's a byelaw prohibiting the consumption of booze - we won't be able to have that bottle of beer/wine with our picnic.....And what's that statutory notice tied to the lamp-post? Is it just about a planning application or maybe a temporary road closure or parking restrictions?...... Stop, I think my head's going to explode.......
