St Martin’s Church near the village of Ryarsh is a very pretty church. It roots can be traced back to the 11th Century and was erected by the Norman conquerors. The church is some distance south of the village and has been cut off by the M20 motorway. St Martin’s was extended in the 15th Century and a typical Jacobean pulpit is inside the building.
