Stables at Denton House

Denton House itself is surrounded by a high wall and is hard to photograph. Not so the stables which are an attractive group of buildings on the other side of the road, dating from around 1700. The octagonal lantern on the roof is intriguing, especially as the rest of the building appears just to be full of hay and stuff.
