In 2010, this tunnel was as far as passenger carrying trains could go. Ahead the railway is being constructed to a terminus, at a new station at Lawley Common. The tunnel takes the railway under Dawley Road. This photograph was taken from the back of a moving train in poor light, and unfortunately isn't as sharp as one would like. But in the absence of any alternative, it may be of interest. Image Image
