Narrowboats are moored in the small basin where three canals meet at Dukinfield Junction - the Ashton Canal (from Manchester), the Peak Forest Canal (from Marple), and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal which has come over the Pennines. The 19th century warehouse has been restored.
