In view is the southern edge of the Marine Village, which is located on the north bank of the Ely River, alongside Penarth Road. Opened in 2008, the centre has about a dozen specialist marine companies offering a wide variety of products and services, such as boat repairs and servicing, chandlery, sailmaking, yacht charters and a canoe and kayak retailer.
