View westwards, towards Seacombe Junction, Bidston and Wrexham; terminus of ex-Great Central line from Bidston and Wrexham. The station was closed 4/1/60 and since then the service has run southwards from Bidston. The locomotive in view is a LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T that had worked in on a service from Wrexham.
