The photograph on this page of Things have changed by Bill Nicholls as part of the Geograph project.
The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

A set of gates now stand at the entrance to the old farm at Fairmile hospital to allow contractors access to the site which is soon to be developed.
