The 16th hole formerly called “Pit”, has been renamed “McLaren’s Miracle” in honour of the late broadcaster Bill McLaren, who had a hole in one at the 292 yard downhill par 4 hole. A memorial stone has been placed in front of the forward tee at this hole Image
