These cattle are grazing on the grass alongside a stream on the eastern edge of the New Forest crown lands. The area is usually a lot boggier but a recent dry spell means that conditions are less damp underfoot. The conifers in the distance were planted to screen the Waterside developments and road. The power lines from Fawley power station stick up above the trees.
