William Williams, Pantycelyn, 1717-1791, is generally considered to be the greatest of Welsh hymnwriters. To English speakers,his best-known hymn is "Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah". (On the 1:25000 map the church and most of the churchyard are in ST7635)
