A mix of trees line this long straight road which has been coopted by Sustrans into part of Route 1 of the National Cycle Network. Quite a lot of nuthatches calling here, still a novelty for Scotland, although they have been established for some time this far south - the wooded policies of all the big houses along the Tweed suit them.
