Shipston-on-Stour is a small town full of history, much of it noted on plaques by the local history society. The town is also full of alleys and passageways like this one in Stratford Road leading to the former Baptist Church built in 1867 to replace the Calvinist Meeting House of 1778. The church was last used for worship in the mid 1970s.
