The western end of St. Mary's church. It dates from the 12th and 13th centuries, and was not severely updated during Victorian times as so many were. The west door seen here is from 1190. The belfry is thought to date from after the reformation and restored in the 1850s. It is seen through the pollarded yews that form the southern boundary of the churchyard.
