Viewed from the edge of Kingsmill Terrace. Formerly, motor vehicles could travel along York Place (on the left) to Stow Hill, but now, as indicated by the no thorough road sign, access is blocked off a few tens of metres along York Place, at a 90 degree bend in the roadway.
