The Wood Street frontage of Bentall's (once a separate department store, pre-dating the modern Bentall Shopping Centre) is styled on nearby Hampton Court Palace. Bentall's is still a department store, at the north end of the Bentall Centre. This facade was kept while the rest of the old Bentall's was demolished and the new Bentall Centre built behind it. - Thanks, Hugh Venables.
